One universal initiative I think we can all get behind is the fight to stop bullying. This has been a dilemma for decades, and it is crippling our youth. Bullying suppresses self-expression, creativity, and individuality. There is no place for this kind of marginalization in today’s world. It is time we stop it once and for all at the source.
This quarter, Joe Cook & Associates has decided to support I’m Bully Free, a local non-profit that believes Children are our future and worth investing in. They promote a safe, caring, non-hostile learning environment where children can mature successfully with dignity and respect. Formed in memory of Kandice Collier, I’m Bully Free has been spreading awareness of the effect bullying has on not only our youth, but our society as a whole. This is accomplished by visiting local Texas schools and educating the staff and students.
